Maintenance of Old Church Cemetery

An association of Cobh Tourism and Cobh Tidy Towns and a small number of committed volunteers are continuing to maintain the Old Church Cemetery in Cobh. The very cold winter meant that growth ceased for many months but the recent good weather has resulted in a spurt of growth.

Cobh Tourism chairman, Hendrick Verwey has appealed  for volunteers to help out. If you can help us to keep this cemetery looking respectful and respectable for one hour or more per week at a time that suits you please contact me on 087 2593850. We have machinery and supply all the necessary protective equipmet, fuel and supplies needed.
