Upon arrival at this immersive experience, you’ll receive a boarding pass with the name of one of the 123 who departed Cobh for their new lives via the Titanic. By the end, you’ll find out whether or not they survived.
The newly completed Titanic arrived in Queenstown Harbor (now known as Cobh) on April 11, 1912, for its maiden voyage to New York. Many of us know what happened to the fictitious Jack and Rose from the movie. But this multimedia experience retraces the steps of the real passengers who boarded the Titanic from Cobh.
Learn about their excitement for the journey in the much-celebrated ship and what lay ahead of them. You’ll discover what the voyage was like for those in first-class and those in the less luxurious quarters. And, of course, what the final tragic hours were like onboard a sinking ship without enough lifeboats for all the passengers.
