Spike Island Exhibition at Cobh Heritage Centre

The exhibition outlining the fascinating history of Spike Island  currently running in The Heritage Centre in Cobh has been extended until the end of the year. The  joint Cork Harbour Islands Project (C.H.I.P.)/Cork County Council Exhibition features the history of this unique island in both word and photographs and is a snapshot of the people that both worked and lived on Spike over the years.  It is well worth a visit.

The DVD which forms a part of the exhibition and features the renowned authority on Spike Island, historian Tom O’ Neill is available to purchase from the Heritage Centre at just €10. This would make an ideal gift to send to relations and friends overseas.
